Won't be back!!!!! The place has fallen into disrepair. We have camped here several times. Over the last few years the upper pool has been closed for "repair". Bathhouse has broken and closed showers and toilets. They charge $1 for a shower and it makes one wonder what they do with the money. It certainly isn't for keeping up the bathhouse. They were not cleaned for days over the holiday weekend and got pretty gross. The owners have become rude and short. It's really too bad. It is a great layout and it really wouldn't take much effort.
We got a riverfront campsite with electric and water hook ups. It was awesome! It was nice and quiet at the end where we were. I was worried because of the bar across the river but they hardly made any noise at all. Would definetly return ... most likely early in the summer season to avoid tubers and preserve the view of the river.
This place has a decent disc golf course. It's only 9 holes but at least they have one. They are not over-the-top on enforcing rules but all in all a nice place to come visit. We'll come back here again for sure!
Love this place. Clean and well run. Pools are a great option.
Staff is very friendly and accomodating. Fun campground with great amenities. My concern is the family friendliness of it. Quiet hours need to be enforced more strictly. Also do not get a river site on the weekend unless you enjoy music into the wee hours because the campground across the river plays obnoxious loud music until 2 am. We got a river site to enjoy the sound of nature not listen to Toby Keith at midnight!
Pools are clean, playground is good, and the staff are nice.
